Your Donations Serve Your Community
When you bring your donations of clothing and household goods to Goodwill Industries you are:

  • creating opportunities for individuals with disabilities and other barriers to independence
  • helping Goodwill fund programs and services
  • supporting training opportunities
  • benefiting the environment by reducing the amount of material being sent to landfills

Each year Goodwill helps to resell and recycle millions of pounds of donated goods. Things like clothing, housewares, books, and furniture find new owners in our Goodwill stores. Donors like you begin the recycling process by recognizing that your unwanted items still have value. Through Goodwill, these items are processed and made available to new consumers. Goodwill shoppers then complete the circle by purchasing previously owned items in one of our ten retail locations.

Donating Cash/Property
Making a contribution to Goodwill Industries makes good tax sense! Cash gifts and bequests to Goodwill are tax-deductible, as provided by law. In fact, 92 cents of every dollar you contribute will directly support training and employment programs for the people we serve.
