New President / CEO Hired

Goodwill Industries of the Heartland has hired Jeff Nock of Iowa City to serve as its new President/Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Nock will begin his new role effective May 30th and succeeds John Watson, who will retire on June 30, after guiding our Goodwill for 29 successful years with exceptional leadership and unselfish service.
Mr. Nock has been Assistant Vice President, Marketing/Product Development for ACT in Iowa City since 2003. His roles and responsibilities within ACT have included team development/coaching, strategic planning, forecasting, budget creation and management, market analysis, acquisitions, strategic partnerships, brand management, workflow analysis, public relations, policy integration, sales training, and development and delivery of proposals for the company’s Board of Directors.
Nock has been active in community service, as director on the Board of Directors of Shelter House and on the Board of Directors of the Iowa City Community School District Foundation. He also coaches numerous youth sports teams.
Nock earned his Bachelors Degree in Political Science from the University of Colorado, and received a Masters degree in Management from Regis University.
Nock currently resides in Iowa City with his wife and four children. |
